September 1st

Yeah, we are finally out of August!  Now there is hope for cooler mornings and evenings in the desert.  Well, actually it does not happen until the end of September, but hitting September is just psychologically good :)  The kids are back to school and college football has returned. It's all good.

Only 4 months left of the year and I really want to make them successful.  I'm starting my 120 Day Personal Challenge today. Stepped on the scale after taking the summer off.  I did have a lot of scale anxiety and even had a dream about it last night.  I've pretty much maintained a constant 187 lbs all year. In my dream, I was hoping to hit under 190 and it showed 189.  Well, wouldn't you know when I stepped on the scale this morning, it was 189.  OK, I can deal with that!  I know I gained after my vacation, but I've been really good the last couple of weeks.  Now I just need to continue and follow my plan:

·         Track everyday
·         Stick to my LCHF Plan
·         Exercise 4-5 times a week  (swim, bike, run)
·         Weight Train 3 times a week
·         1-2  rest days a week
·         Weigh in every weekend
 
 
 



I did a 16 mile bike workout on Sunday and hit the pool this morning.  I was really dragging yesterday and even took a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.  I got a good night sleep last night and that seemed to have helped.  I was in the pool by  6:30am and it was empty!!!  Swam 1700 yrds and it felt great! 
 
Going to a Labor Day cookout at my sisters today and then just chill the rest of the afternoon.  Got to get myself prepared to the work week ahead and my new challenge.
