I love to swim! I think of this every time I jump into the pool and kick off the side to do my first lap. Yesterday I got up at 4:30am and drove to the gym to get my swim on. I was in the pool by 5:30. Turned on my ipod and Adele's song Skyfall starts me off. Best way to start the day!
Went to WW this morning and did my weigh in. Down 1.6 lbs! I definitely feel more focused, so I really hope this is the start of a downward trend. I've been gaining and losing the same weight for far too long. I am tracking on my Fitness Pal again. This is helping. I'm more mindful of what I am eating because I know I have to account for it. I am watching my carb intake. I shoot to have low, med, and high days during the week to try to shake things up. I'm am also doing cardio in a fasted state 2-3 times a week. Weight training is my priority and I will shoot again to have 2 days in this week. I'm going to try one of Jackie Warner's DVDs to see if that will help.
I also made the decision to discontinue WWs. I think I have 1 more weigh in before my monthly pass expires. It got me back into weight loss focus in Sept, but really was only using it for the weigh in accountability. I cannot justify the $50 monthly charge. I've made a commitment to myself to weigh in at home every Saturday and report in to the The Half Size Me Community I've belong to since mid January. I feel I am a lot stronger than I was, so I should be able to handle my own weigh ins.

Waving hello Valerie!! I also have to eat lower carb to maintain my weight loss. Do you ever listen to Vinnie Tortorich- the Angriest trainer (he can be kind of explicit) but I know that there are a lot of Tri- resources with lower carb fueling within his community (Tri, endurance sports).
