Final Tri of the Season

Sunday wasn't just my Binge Free anniversary, it was also the day of my last Tri for the season.  My sister in law, Suzanne, was in town visiting from Houston, so she did it with me.   I usually don't do Tri's past May, but I made an exception since she was coming to town.  It was a great way to celebrate the day.. and we even took 3rd and 5th place in our age group!

Since we both will be turning 50 soon, we decided to plan for an Olympic Tri.  Both my sister and sister in law turn 50 in 2016 and I turn in 2017. We will pick something in between.  It will be open water, but not in the ocean. Some place fun!   Something to look forward to for sure!

My road bike has been put away for the summer, so it's time to put the focus back into running. It's getting hot in AZ, so I have to get up super early to get my runs in.  Next event is next Sunday - Rio Vista 4 Miler!
