Twenty Big Ones Down!!

I hit 20 lbs lost for 2013!!! There are 20 lbs less of me from this time last year. Last Jan, I set a goal to lose 5lbs a month, but after 6 months I was in the exact same place. The 20 lbs loss didn't start until I got real honest about my addiction to sugar. I have learned so much about myself this year, thanks to Heather at Half Size Me and the HSM community! It's not about how much or fast you lose, but how you change along the way.

I'm looking forward to 2014.  I got the Body Media Band for Christmas and I love it!!  Not only does it track calories burned, it also tracks your sleep patterns.  I'm tracking my food intake on My Fitness Pal and it all syncs up. I also order another toy for myself, a Garmin Swim watch. So I will have my regular Garmin for my running, my bike computer, and now my Garmin Swim watch to measure my performance in all 3 sports.  Pretty cool!

I posted my upcoming events for 2014.  I included the Esprit de She Tri in May, so I will be doing another open water tri. It's all about the challenge!
