Setting My 2014 Goals - Zip Lining

I came across this great weight loss calculator (http://keto-calculator.ankerl.com/ ) from one of the Keto sites I follow.  It’s your typical plug-in-your-weight-height to calculate BMR and TEE, but you can also set your preferred Macro targets (Carbs, Fat, Protein).  It is geared towards the ketogenic diet (low carb, high fat, moderate protein), but you can set any level of macros.  The function I love is this interactive chart where you can slide down your plan (like a zip line – embarrasing picture to follow) to see where you will be at any particular time in your plotted out journey.

These are my results.  This is just where I am starting.  I will adjust based on my weekly results.  I will be tracking my food,  my activity (with my requested Christmas gift of a Body Media Band), weight and measurements.  I may need to go up in my calories or adjust my ratios a bit.

OK, here are images of the chart – my zip line.  You can slide down to see where you will be at at any particular time in your plotted out journey.  So these are my milestones for 2014

December 10th Start  189 lbs

 January 2014 Goal - 180 lbs

March 2014 Goal - 170 lbs

August 2014 Goal - 160 lbs

 December 2014 Goal - 140 lbs - Maintenance!!

Of course when I look at this chart, all I can think about is a zip line.  I dug up this shot of me on a zip line when we went to Costa Rica in 2012.  It was at this time that I decided was enough was enough with the weight gain.  This is when I started listening to the Half Size Me podcast.  This was the start of my journey getting back to a healthy weight.
