Litchfield Park 10K

It was raining, but I got up and did it anyway.  Litchfield Park 10k is one of my favorite races!  I love Litchfield Park.. a small town just 20 mins from my house.  Big palm trees and very strong small of citrus in the air.  My pace was nothing really to speak about, 14:20, but I felt strong the entire way through.  I'm getting anxious about Ragnar, but running a 10k with a little over 2 months to train is giving me confidence.

I took yesterday and today off from work to just chill.  I hit my 20 yr mark, so I get over 6 weeks of vacation a year.  Didn't feel like working our yesterday, so I didn't.  Worked on a couple of home improvement projects.  Today I hit the pool and it felt great!  Funny how you look forward to being home a lone and when it happens, you totally miss your family.

  1. Great job, getting out there and running in the rain! I find that I love running in the rain once I'm out there, but it's so hard to get motivated. Good luck with your Ragnar training!
